Four months old!

Hailey is now 4 months old! I don't know where the time went already! She is such an amazing little girl and I'm so happy that we have her in our lives. She is so happy all the time, she smiles at everyone. She has a dimple too! It's on the opposite side of Chloe's, and it's so adorable. Chloe absolutely loves her little sister. If she cries in the car, Chloe holds her hand and sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to her. She has been sleeping through the night for a few months now and it's fantastic! Chloe didn't sleep through the night until she was almost a year old, so this is a welcomed change! She has started rolling over from her back to her tummy, but then gets mad when she's stuck on her tummy.

Mr. & Mrs. Knight

On June 9th, my brother, Randy, married Danielle. I'm so excited to have her as part of our family! She fits in perfectly. That morning, it was rainy and dreary, by the time she walked down the aisle, it was sunny and beautiful. Everything turned out perfect. There was fun and dancing, everyone had a great time. Tyson was a dancing fool! I don't know where that kid got his moves, but he's so funny to watch. At the end of the night, Danielle told me that it turned out ten times better than she ever imagined. I'm so happy for them and they're going to be so happy together.

Danielle's Bachelorette Party

As soon as we got back from California, we headed up to Boise for Randy and Danielle's wedding. We went to the Montgomery's house for the rehearsal dinner on Friday night, then us girls went to Danielle's suite and hung out. Then we went next door to a restaurant for Danielle's bachelorette party.  It was fun to hang out with the girls and meet Danielle's friends.

Family Photo

After the rehearsal, we all got together for a family picture. Other than weddings, it's been many, many years since we've all taken a family picture. So while everyone was there, we had to seize the opportunity. About halfway through, Chloe disappeared. Somehow, none of us noticed until we were done and realized we were missing one. Luckily, we got a few cute shots before she bailed.

Newport Beach

After a few busy days at Disneyland, we went to the beach and relaxed a little. It was nice. We ate lunch at the end of that pier. There was a little diner with one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It was bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado on parmesan sourdough. Soooo good. Then we went back and played in the water/played on the beach. We built a sandcastle and played in the sand, then we found a little gift shop so I could get a keychain to add to my collection.

Disneyland

We spent two days at Disneyland and California Adventures. It was tons of fun. Brooklyn loved getting to go on the big rides with us, and Chloe loved seeing Mickey and all of the princesses. Tyson was excited to see Mickey, and to go on any of the rides he was tall enough to go on. Hailey slept a lot. But when we saw the World of Color show, she loved all the bright colors. It was a lot of fun, but very exhausting.

Swimming

We went swimming one of the days in California and the kids had a blast. It was Hailey's first time swimming. She wasn't especially thrilled, but she didn't hate it either. At first, Chloe was afraid to get in the water, but once she did, she had a great time. I have more pictures on my phone, I'll work on getting them on here.

California bound!

We flew to California for our family vacation this year. It was the first plane ride for Hailey and Chloe, and the first one that Brooklyn and Tyson can remember. They were all so excited to "blast off". Hailey slept through both flights, she was definitely the easy one.

Brooklyn's 7th Birthday

We celebrated Brooklyn's birthday in California this year with Melinda's family and Rob's parents. Brooklyn got to pick where we went to eat for her birthday dinner, and she picked Sizzler. Afterward. we had cake and presents and the kids were excited to spend so much time with their cousins.
