We were all napping one afternoon when Chloe came and woke me up and told me that she cut her hair. I rushed to the kitchen to see how bad it was. It was bad. I started crying and she immediately started apologizing. I asked her why she did it and she said that she was trying to color and her hair was getting in her way. She cut about 7-8 inches on each side of her head. We were going to my parent's house the next day, so I had my mom try to even it out a little. It was sooo short. Hailey got her first haircut while we were there too. She just needed her bangs trimmed a little.

Eastern Idaho State Fair
Rob was able to get off work a little bit early this day so we could go to the fair during the day. We usually go when he gets off work, and then the kids are up past bedtime, and it's always really late when we finally get home. So it was nice to get there earlier. It was really windy though, and that sucked. The petting zoo was a disappointment this year. But Chloe got her fill of ice cream and cotton candy, so it was fun.

Chukars game
Sarah's boss had a couple extra ticket for the Chukars game, so she invited us to go. I'd never been to one before, and it was a lot of fun. Charlie the Chukar was walking around and Chloe kept calling him a chicken. Surprisingly, she wasn't afraid of him. She told him that she liked his tutu. She also won best hair at the game! you can't tell in the pictures, but she just had messy bun pigtails. Hailey was passed out on Rob by the 8th inning.

Chloe got her cast off!
After 3 long weeks, Chloe got her cast off. She was so excited. She wasn't sure about the headphones the doctor was putting on her, but she was so brave. She sat very still and quiet while he sawed the cast off her arm. Hailey cried though. The saw was loud and she didn't like that at all. Chloe couldn't wait to get home and get in the swimming pool!

Chloe got her cast!
We went and got Chloe's cast today. They had a bunch of colors to choose from, but Chloe made up her mind quite a few days ago that she wanted a pink cast. And she was very excited about it. As soon as we left the Dr's office, we had to go over to Rob's work because she couldn't wait to show Daddy. Two people there signed it for her, she's excited to start collecting signatures. The nurses kept saying she was very brave, and that all of our children were very well behaved :)

A rough day for us girls...
It all started when Rob came home for lunch. We were moving a bed from the Expedition into the garage, and the box spring slid and crushed two of my fingers. It hurt so bad, but I didn't cry. I may have yelled a little though..
Then a few hours later, I took Hailey to the doctor. We all had a cold a few weeks ago, and everyone got better except Hailey. She's been coughing and wheezing still. They gave her a breathing treatment, and she sounded much better afterward. He said if it's a recurring thing, she may have asthma. So we have to give her breathing treatments at home for the next week, then take her back in to see how she's doing.
After we got home from the doctor, I was feeding Hailey and Chloe went out in the backyard to play. All of a sudden I heard her scream. I ran out and she was laying on the ground under the swing set. I took her inside and got her cleaned up. I looked at her arm that she said was hurting and couldn't really see anything wrong, so I cuddled her up on the couch and turned on Little Einsteins while we waited for Rob to get home from work. About 15 minutes later, he got home, and she was still complaining that her arm was hurting, which was very unusual for her. He looked at it and said he thought it might be dislocated, so we loaded up and headed to the emergency room. They took x-rays and determined that she fractured her humerus. They put her arm in a splint and we have to take her in next week to get a cast. She'll probably be in the cast for about 6 weeks. I feel so bad, she's the one who enjoys playing in the pool the most, and now she won't be able to :( She doesn't seem to be in too much pain, and she's still happy and smiley, so that's good. It was her right arm too, so that really sucks. She's been trying so hard to do things with her left hand and is very determined to still do things on her own. She's a trooper!

Independence Day 2012
The first thing we did this year was go to the parade with the Pickett's. The kids had a blast and got too much candy, as always. Hailey didn't like the siren from the fire engine, or when the vintage cars roared their engines. Other than that, she was fine, and she slept through part of it. Then we went home and the kids played outside for awhile. Chad, Tasha, Maxton, Andrew, Irene, and Remmie all came to our house for dinner. We ate good food, hung out, and had a lot of fun. After that, we all headed to the river for the big fireworks show. Andrew and Irene went a little earlier and got a great seat. We wandered around the river for awhile before setting in for the show. Irene brought sparklers so Chloe, Tyson, and Brooklyn got to do that. They loved it. We were afraid the babies would be afraid of the fireworks because of how close we were. They all did great! Maxton and Hailey were both asleep by the end of the show.
July 4th was also our 3rd wedding anniversary! We're even happier and more in love now than the day we got married :) I'm so happy that we found each other.
